Just wondering how exactly do you convert codes from region to another.  For example, I've codes for a the Japanese MLB power pros 2008, but I own the US version, so I'm wondering how I can convert those JP codes for US uses.  I'm also wondering if I'll need the USB Gecko or other pieces of software or hardware for this endeavor.  The only code converter I've found is the GCN AR to WiiRD one which unfortunately doesn't help me in this case.  I appreciate any help given on this matter.

Thanks.

From what I can understand from the link, I'll need to find a common code for the two games and figure out the conversion that way right?  Unfortunately, there's no code that I can find for the US MLB Power Pro 2008.  But would, say, a code comparison (for the offset) between the regional versions of another game work or would it have to be a the specific game etc?

If it was that easy, all the codes would be ported by now.
You need the offset off that game, but if a code has a C2XXXXXX XXXXXXXX or a C0XXXXXX XXXXXXXX you cant port it with offsets.
Best way to get codes for the game is by suggesting it.
