can sum1 plz give me a step by step on ocarina for brawl? (im using US verion, when i start up ocarina is says my brawl id is "RSBE01"))
i have homebrew channel on my wii
i have ocarina as well
now this is where im lost
ao i get an empty sd card then make a folder named apps-
which holds ocarina in it
then i open the ocarina folder and the boot.elf, icon.png, and meta.xml come up.

SO NOW WHERE DO I PUT THE CODES?? do i make a new folder inside of the ocarina folder and name it "codes" or what??

oh and im using a dual 2 Ghz PowerPC G5 mac version 10.3.9, so i couldnt open the codemngr.exe file, so i heard i had to copy and paste a code into "TextEdit"
then go to Format >Make Plain Text then save it as what? "rsbe01.txt"?
then after that i took brkrich's mediafire script to make the .txt file into .gct
and again after all that where do i place the code(s)?? PLZ HELP :cry

p.s. i already been to the Ocarina for Power Based Mac and another thread and none of them helped my dilemma or responded to me.

After selecting your codes in codemgr.exe, click Export to GCT, choose your SD card drive, and click Store. Then put the SD back to your wii

Oops...missed the part that you can't use codemgr on the Mac.

Make a Codes folder in root dir of your SD card ( *:\codes )and put the *gameid*.gct file in there

*:\codes <----- thats what i name the folder specifically?

srry if  ( *:\ ) stands for something itself i dont know tat much on computer terms and what not.

brkirch

Name the gct file RSBE01.gct
Then create a folder on your SD card called codes
(the codes folder should be on your SD card, but not inside any other folders)
Drag the RSBE01.gct file into the codes folder.

That should be about it.  Just start up Ocarina in the homebrew channel and it should load the codes for SSBB.

Drag the attached txt file onto txt2gct and see if the resulting gct file works.  BTW you may want to use Gecko OS instead of Ocarina, it is more up-to-date and has all the functionality of Ocarina built-in.

No, the txt file can be kept as is.  I've attached a gct file, see if it works for you.

Same txt file, I just dragged in onto my program. (I've attached it so you can check if you are using a broken version or if something is going wrong on your computer/Mac OS version)
