Need help with code for Zelda TP PAL [RZDP01]

Hello,

I'm trying to find an "infinte horse boost" code.
Well, I succesfully found the pointer-address.
But when I try the RAM-Write-Code on the pointer+offset,
nothing happens.

I made sure, that the pointer is pointing to the right address
and manually poking this address works just fine.
