If you mean can the USBGecko used to make backups of your original games then yes it can
with Gecko DVD.
If you want to get iso's from a wii disc then use WUFE. (Wii update File extractor)

Both tool's was made by Nuke and removed by Nuke.
I don't now why he removed them.
More than likely he made his money and ran F*~# the USBGecko
owners.
It feels like it any way :(

Yeah, the way Nuke kind of vanished from the scene, pulled most of the downloads, and stopped offering support for the product that loads of people paid money for, bothers me.  Obviously I don't have all the information, and Nuke may well have had a good reason to vanish, but to those of us not "in the know", it feels like a bait and switch.  I paid money for my USB Gecko, not just because I wanted to hack games myself, but because I had ideas for apps that required users to have a USB Gecko also.  Now I feel kind of weird telling users to buy a USB Gecko when I know that there isn't any official support for the device.  As I said, I clearly don't have all the information, and so I'm not going to judge Nuke, since I have no clue why he left.  It just leaves me with a vague unpleasant feeling.  Hope I'm not offending anyone with this post.  (And I do hope Nuke decides to come back.)

there are much faster ways to dump a game now than what geckoDVD does.  i modified the source to show speed and its going at a whopping 660kBs peak and 600kBs average.  thats like 2.5 hours for SSBB.

@giantpune.
I only use geckoDVD as i do not need to install any CIsco's or patch iso's.
I did not realise Nuke released the source code for geckoDVD.
But the source code is not any good for me at the moment as i can't program at the moment
as i'm just learning c++.
Well i have been learning it since summer this year.
I am learning from c++ for dummies 5th edition its very hard for me to learn to program
as i'm not in very good health and all the different pills i take i forget more than i learn lol.
I'm not sure if i should be learning c++ or some thing else, every one seams to be useing c#.
Will you be releasing your modified version for the usbgecko i hope you do :)

@codyk.
It would be nice if Nuke at least let some one know what is going on like Link or James0x57.
Nuke has only vanished on certain sites this is just one site he goes to.He logs in
on other sites still.Look for Michael on wiiBrew Forums he logged in 5 weeks ago so he has not gone.
The wiird blogs kudos to nuke was about the 3rd time he left the wii scene then he came back again.
But it would be nice to here from him though just to tell us he is ok.

@biolizard89.
Yes i hope he decides to come back too.  :)
