Snes9x GX cheat codes not working!

I really don't know why its not working i did the same thing when i created the .txt file for the wii and gc codes.
I know it has to mat the game name exactly, which i did and renamed it from .txt to .CHT.
And it does show up, but as gibberish/blob txt and it dont do anything.

Do i have to format it a cretin way? or does anyone know of a link to a site with cheats i can use with it?

SNES9X doesn't use the cheats from GeckoCodes, because SNES9X isn't a Virtual Console Emulator, which was what the codes made on GeckoCodes are for.

It uses the original .cht files that might've been created with a GameGenie or something similar.

Be sure to name the file the same as the ROM is named.

but it still comes out as gibberish maybe its the cheat tool it's self i wish they had other version of it.
