Cannot load UDraw Instant Artist

Have a Wii that we bought in Japan.  Running 4.3J.

When I try to load the US version of UDraw Instant Artist the Wii reboots after a few seconds.

My son just got this game for Hanukkah,and is disappointed that it won't run. Could it be a bad disc or does this game just not work with Gecko?

1st play around with the language setting and the VIDTV patch. Maybe you just need to force english on the game, or not force a language at all.

And if it doesn't work, you can try the same with Gecko OS mod again:

It has a slightly different games compatibility. And it has Country String patching, which helps some other NTSC-U games on japanese Wiis.

Thanks for the quick response.   Forcing the English did it!  I had not looked at the options yet, I was just clicking Load Game.  Thank you so much.  Have a great holiday!
