I hacked this awhile ago but saw you had posted codes so never posted mine. 50 is the max HP you can get (without additional badges) which is why I left it at that. I seem to recall that the current and max were right next to each other, or perhaps separated by a byte. But there was also something else afterwards that altered the max hp but never really figured out what it was so didn't touch the address.

I think it was something like this aabbccxxyyzz
