Gecko O.S Version 1.9.3 IOS Switcher?....

Im using Gecko O.S v. 1.9.3 I live in the USA and Im trying to load hacks through my wii [which i've done before] but for some reason I think someone on my wii messed with Gecko O.S and now it says... "Using IOS 249" and I know Most Games use IOS 36, if not all but I know there is some way to change it back to IOS 36 but that I have no clue on how to do it, Oh and I almost forgot MY WII VERSION IS 4.1 So if any could help that would be very much appreciated thanks! . . . .   :-\

geckoOS reloads IOS several times when it starts up trying to find one that it can use the ES_Identify().  it tries ( IIRC ) 36, then 35, then 249.  if you dont want it to use 249, then you would have to patch or downgrade 36 or 35.  This IOS is only used by geckOS while in the program itself, loading channels, and using th rebooter.  disc games are always loaded with their correct IOS.

And for what its worth, most games dont use IOS36.  theres only a handful... mario kart, castelvania, SSBB, and maybe 1 or 2 more.

Oh thanks! But I don't care if I only use IOS36 because the only reason I use Gecko O.S is to play hacks on SSBB with it. So how would I downgrade IOS36 then? All I want is for it to be able to use IOS36 again lol. Again, thanks for helping

Perhaps I'm being dense, but why do you care what IOS GeckoOS uses?  If you're not loading channels, it doesn't make any difference as far as I know.  Disc games boot using their correct IOS regardless.

It matters because when I load IOS 249 on SSBB it just goes to black screen and I need IOS 36..
I honestly don't know ever sense it said "USING IOS 249" I can't load Super Smash Bros. it just goes to a black screen :/. I've done it before many times I have all of the codes in the correct position also.

Here lemme re phrase that, Everytime I load Super Smash Bros. Through Gecko O.S it goes to a black screen and at the bottom of Gecko O.S it says "Using IOS249" So yeah what im trying to figure out is how to make it normal again..

Well, actually I just formatted my SD Card and started from scratch and it worked.
