So I have a wii with a busted sd slot and a wode.  Is there any way whatsoever to get gecko os to load a gct from another source, such as the usbgecko itself, or pendrives or anything?  My wode has a sd slot, but it doesn't communicate with the wii itself.  or any other app that may be able to do this?  Thank you for your time in reading this, I appreciate it.

You can use the USB Gecko to send GCT files to the Wii.  In fact, doing so is more flexible than an SD card because you can change the codes while the game is running.  I believe both WiiRdGUI and Gecko.NET have this capability, as does the WiiRd console app.

ooo...ooo...ooo....could you please tell me a link to the tutorials on these?  I will try to just google also.  If this works, you just saved me buyin a new motherboard, or a used wii.  I solved the save issue with savegame manager mod, and this is the only obstacle I have left.  Luckily, as you might have guessed, I did install HBC and DVDx before the slot went out.  So I have access to all of that stuff.  Thank you again for the quick response.

I don't have my Wii on me to check at the moment, but I believe both WiiRdGUI and Gecko.NET have a "GCT" tab that you can click on once you've booted the game and have the USB Gecko connected.  From this tab, you can enter codes, and enable/disable them.  It should be fairly easy to figure out once you're at the tab.  (But if something doesn't make sense in that interface, please don't hesitate to ask here.)

Try Gecko OS mod, theoretically it should work to load the codes from usb storage there.
