I have a question.
I saw a tut how create a moonjump but sometimes the value on the ground isn't 00000000.
So I search for unknown value.
Now I search for equal
Then jump and search for greather than.
when I'm back on the ground again, search for equal.
but why does it not work?
when I go to the memory viewer an check these codes, it doesn't work.
what's wrong? :(
please help me anyone thanks!

(sorry for my bad english)

Try to just use greater than/ smaller than searches.
It could be that when you are on the same spot the value changes just a small bit.

Search for unknown: Check

Search for equal after not moving: Check

Search for greater than after jumping: Check

Search for equal after landing: Fail

When you search, it will look for a value relative to the last value you searched for, not the first value.  The last value you searched for was the greater-than value from check 3.  After landing, your value will be LESS THAN the previous value.  After you search for that less than value, NOW you will continue searching for equal values.

Let's say your unknown was 1 (but you didn't know that).  You search for unknown values, and WiiRd remembers all of them.  Without moving, you search for equal values.  In the case of our unknown, it will verify that 1 is still equal to 1.

Now you jump.  Let's say your unknown is now 3.  You will look for all values greater than the last value.  In this case, 3 > 1, so that memory cell survives this round.

Now you land.  Let's say your unknown is back to 1.  You will look for all values less than the last value.  1 < 3, and the cell survives.  If you were to search for equals, 3 is not equal to 1, so our memory cell gets cut!

Repeat the process a few more times.  That is, after landing, searching for less than, waiting, searching for equal (this is where we left off above)...jump again, search for greater than, land, search for less than, wait, search for equal.  Repeat this process a few times, and you'll eventually whittle your way down to a few values.

thanks dcx2
now I know how to create a moonjump.
but sometime you must search for LESS THAN and when you are back on the ground for GREATER THAN
