I'm hoping this topic is in the correct thread, though if not please let me know :x

I'm new to the hacking scene, so I'm hoping someone can guide me along with this.

For those of you who know how to use Homebrew/Gecko OS + Ocarina, I need help :x

I've installed Homebrew no problem, it's working just fine. However, whenever I go to use Ocarina (I want to cheat my way through Rune Factory: Frontier because some stuff is ridiculously hard to manage) It either refuses to load or on the off chance it does (which us very rare), it will say "looking for codes" and then freeze :c

I'm currently running the Wii System version 4.2 And I've already downloaded the appropriate version of Homebrew to load on it. I've also made sure that the gamecube memory card is removed from the Wii.

Anyone know how to help ;A;?

Use Gecko OS not ocarnia, it is outdated and is included in Gecko OS now. Gecko OS is more stable and more likely to work. Just go to wiibrew and download version 1.9.3 and follow the instructions on setting it and the codes and txtcodes folders up along with the 2 supporting apps code downloader and code manager, if you do not already have them, and you should be good to go. If you have any further questions let me know and I will do my best to help. Sorry that it took this long to get you a response, I just now noticed you had 0 responses so I clicked on your topic and read it for the first time. Normally we are much faster here, somehow your topic got missed. The 7th must have been a release day or something, anyways sorry about that. Best of luck to you. Talk to you later.

Sincerely,
Elmoreas
