hi there..

Though this is the first time ive ventured onto the wii, im not new to trainers or hacking, some may know my name already.. some may not.. well, this was a little experiment to see what was possible when hacking the wii console.. ive created a trainer engine with an INGAME trainer menu, it uses the games own text routines to keep track of your options.. ive also coded an item programmer.. u can select which items go into the first 5 slots of your inventory..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoqKVSZOBIQ  - This demos the SLOT programmer..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-UiDXW9eIs - This demos the INGAME TRAINER MENU..

hope u like them.. as i said.. its the first hack ive done to see whats possible and to get me used to the ppc asm instruction set... expect a lot more from me in the future.. and unlike a lot of hackers out there i dont believe in keeping things to myself.. ill be making some nice hacks for everyone to enjoy in the near future..

take care..

EDIT..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uDzpPdfZD0
just something i was playing with last night.. eventually ill demo that my trainer engine should work on ANY game that has some text somewhere on the screeen.. it shouldnt have a problem hijacking it to display the options implemented in my trainers. tnx for watching.

p.s im working on a website for all my work.. so ill post that address when it has something of value for people to see.

hmm, not sure what u mean by process...

the hack is basically a large chunk of asm that sits and hooks onto a frequently repeated function (so its always being called).. my asm hooks the menu display position in memory and when the menu is activated the code redirects the menu functions to look at my TEXT display instead of their own.. all the time being hooked into the pad reading routines helps keep track of everything.. the hardest part was finding a space large enuff to hold the hook.. i couldnt use the usual xxxx1800 because it seems other hooks are already in place there.. so eventually i found a perfect place.. i stuck it inside the TEXT that displays when the WII cannot read the wii game disc..  considering this message is rarely SEEN .. and even when it is.. the wii wont let u go back to the game anyways.. so its perfectly safe there.. and doesnt interfere with any part of the game.. :) i hope that answers some of ur questions.. if u had something more specific in mind .. let me know..

My knowledge doesn't extend beyond basic hacking, creating codes etc so it's interesting to know how you made it

How do you go about finding the menu for example?

hetoan2

He didn't find the menu, he made it by editing the text and functions that it does.

Check out my site with codes obviously...

I wish I had the understanding of it to do something similar
