Running GCOS games through Gecko OS 1.06D

I recently bought a USB Gecko for my Wii, and so far it's been working out great. However, I have several DVD's with 3 GC games and a GCOS menu on them that I burned myself, and when I try to run one of these through Gecko OS 1.06D and have WiiRD running, I instantly get a black error screen with white text. Is there any way to get around this so I can still load a game from the disc with WiiRD?
