Hello everyone! I am new here and new to hacking, and I can't wait to see what new codes will be developed for the future.

Currently I am trying to modify a code for brawl that allows items to spawn when I press certain buttons. Truth is, I don't know what symbols to replace the X and Y values with. Can I please get some help?

Here is the details and code:

my guess would be that the first ones (the X's) are to define what button(combination) should be used, the other (Y's) are what item.

that's my guess, you might as well experiment with it, as this doesn't sound like a dangerous code.
if you tell me what version you have I might give an actua lexample.

I don't know if this is what you meant, but I have Twilight Hack 3.4: twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2.zip . I'm using a regular sd card with a reader in order to hack, if it makes a difference.

Thank you for replying, but my real concern was what the codes were for different buttons on the controller, and for different items. In this case I want to be able to spawn smash balls with the L Button. Is this possible?

Any answers would be much appreciated!

ow should have been more clear there, I meant what region (PAL/NTSC) you were in.

also usefull to know is if you are using gecko OS or ocarina, because ocarina is longer supported, but you might already know that.

The code appears to be NTSC.
I'm not certain, but the code seems to not specify which items are spawned.

I think XXXX refers to the actual buttons pressed, whilst YYYYYY refers to the type of controller, and the player# of the person who the code applies for.

I believe that if you attempt to use a 'non-standard item' in a match where it wouldn't normally load (for example, diddy's peanuts in a match without diddy kong), the game will freeze/crash.

No, thank you very much! This will come in much use! Where did you find all those other codes, for future reference? They weren't in the brawl section of this site. And yes I am using the US version.

you should be able to find those lists in warchamps code list, which is linked to in either of the usa brawl threads
