One Piece: Unlimited Adventure USA on EU Wii in 480p

I'm considering buying the game (it's terrific in my opinion).
Now I'm using a backup, and I've just found where to buy it (now I try them before buyng them, I've spend too much in crappy games like Transformers...). One question. The backup has a problem with 480p mode (no video, only audio) and I am forced to use 480i mode in the system menu to play it. I'm not using a modchip but Softchip.
On my LCD 480i is terrible, I can see the interlaced frames on the system menu, on HBC, etc.
I'm wondering if on Gecko OS region free mode the problem is present. Anyone as the game up and running on a european Wii in 480p?

My tv is a Sony Bravia KDL and I'm using component cables.
