Ok, I have 2 questions, as I recently got my USG Gecko.

First, I have tried opening the .wgc files and modifying them, to avoid entering codes line by line, but it's not working. Am I doing something wrong, or is there no way to edit the .wgc file to add codes in?

The other question is concerning the Backup Loader, and might not belong here, but I might as well ask it. I'm trying to extract the save file from a backup game, is there any way to do this? The Savegame Extractor can not read backups. So, is it possible to decode the data.bin, as I have all my Wii's keys?

EDIT: I'm having another problem, this is with the Gecko DVD/Wiirip software. I am trying to make a backup of my games, and it's not working. I plug the Gecko into USB slot 2, connect it, load up Gecko OS 1.07b channel, and then click on "Extract DVD", and save the ISO. After that, nothing happens. The Gecko OS screen stays the same, and eventually the program will come up with an error("Error sending extract DVD command"). Am I doing something wrong here?

you can add a whole code by copying it and clicking the paste code button.

you can use the rebooter to copy your safe files to your SD card.

wait when you say a whole code do you mean more than 1 line?

I don't want the data.bin. I'm trying to help my friend hack his Animal Crossing town, and he uses a backup. In order to edit the save files in AC, you need RVFOREST.dat, which can be obtained with the Savegame Extractor. I've tried using the rebooter with the Backup Launcher, but it doesn't work.

Also, I've tried copying a code into the GCT files section. It only pastes 1 line at a time.

Nevermind about the 3rd question, I just used FTPii to get the .img file, instead of ripping it with the USB Gecko.

copy a code, go to the gct codes tab and click the "paste clipboard" button, it will paste all the lines of the code (you have to click "add new code" first and you can't paste a code with placeholders (XX))
