Brawl Freeze Help

I was trying the codes that change your character to one of the bosses like Master Hand and Petey, but whenever I do it, the game freezes. Does anybody know how to make it not freeze or if there are any bosses that don't cause the game to freeze, because I've only tried a few and none of those worked

Not possible. No bosses are playable atm, and may never be. Sorry.
