I am trying to find this zip file to download but each time I am unsuccessful.

The reason for my downloading is I am attempting to play We Ski (it is NTSC) on my NTSC TV, NTSC wii and each time I try I get a Black and White screen that continuously scrolls down.

I really don't understand why since everything is NTSC... (Other games do not have an issue)

When trying to download
http://www.usbgecko.com/files/geckoOS16dcf.zip it just routes me to the forum..

It is listed as Gecko OS 1.06d (color fixed version) - Use if get b/w picture on your TV (Boot with Homebrew Channel)

Thanks!

Just use 1.07a it has the color fix as well as every other fix they've had along the way.

Hmm, well here is my setup:

NTSC Wii with 3.3u firmware.
I then have Homebrew channel installed and Gecko OS 1.07a

Under Config Options, I turned Force NTSC and VIDTV Patch to yes.
I then load We Ski (obviously NTSC as other versions were named Family Ski) and it loads. However, the screen is in Black/White and keeps "scrolling down". I then tried using a different video cable, Wii HD Component Cable, and I got color this time, but the screen was still scrolling down.

This is an NTSC TV that works fine with other games :-)

Any ideas?

Edit: Am I supposed to use NTSC and VIDTV fix at the same time? What does the VIDTV fix even do?

try not forcing anything just use default

With no items changed, it still does the scrolling. This is the reason why I attempted GeckoOS in the first place, forcing the video mode.

Is there a way to change the hertz the Wii outputs for NTSC?

(Sorry if I say things that are incorrect. This isn't my area of expertise :-))
