The code management is weird and downloading from geckocodes will still not make the codes work. I´ve a Wii which is way faster in terms of frame rate (still, higher quality code recordings won´t be that bad). Rendering in HD doesn´t only take multiple times longer, it also doesn´t make a difference (like hetoan2 said).
