Title: Gecko.Net: Codes lost
Post by: Bully@Wiiplaza on June 01, 2013, 11:30:31 AM
I was moving a code in the GCT tab and suddenly my laptop blue screened.
I turned it back on and the txt file was wiped out with blanks. Also, the backup archive was damaged.
Great :D even Recuva couldn´t help.

I just copied my txt file backup from 4 months ago (thx Acronis), no huge deal. I´ve got most back and I redid the new ones quickly.

Nothing else is affected, luckily. :o

This shows how even with code backup.zip stuff can be lost.
It´s the 3rd time totally that a code list got wiped but the 1st that it was lost forever.

I wish this could be prevented...

It actually happens to us when we make huge Assembly codes, Nul characters, notepad++, gotta hate them.
