Title: Sonic and the Secret Rings [RSRP8P]
Post by: Takeshi55 on October 30, 2012, 05:59:18 PM
Sorry that I don't know the game code, as there arn't any codes for this game yet...
Though, I do find it annoying that the US version gets a LOT of codes for this game, but the PAL gets none.

Requesting: Invincibility, Inf lives, Moon Jump.

Try some of the NTSC-US codes I made and let me know if they work for PAL.

Sometimes the codes are universal. If they don't, just let me know and I can make you some codes for the PAL version.

Sorry for the late response. The US codes don't work. There used to be PAL codes, but they crashed the game.
The codes I want are different to the ones in the US game, anyway.

Thanks.

*post merge - do NOT double post*

I noticed some codes were added, but they're still not the ones I want... The inf Rings code is just going to make me go to Level 99 really quickly and I don't want that. I want to level up by getting the rings I got.

Again, The codes I want are Inf lives, Invincibility and Moon Jump.

There are no "lives" in this game. If you have rings you can never die, but you can still fall off things and also fail the missions. The rings will not level you up any faster besides completing 2 or 3 missions automatically. I haven't got around to the moon jump yet but I did add the invincibility code you were looking for.

I have tested them on PAL and NTSC they work fine. What problems are you having with them? You need to tell me more than "they don't work" if you really want my help....

Well, I've tried the 00:00:00 Stage Clear Time, Inf Rings and Invincibility codes, but none work.
Though, I have noticed when I don't have any codes activated, it says I have 2 activated and it won't go away.

You basically just told me the same thing. Are they causing a game freeze? Where does it say you have two codes activated......  :o  ??? Make sure you are setting up Gecko OS or the USB loader you are working with correctly. With OSsleepthread for hooktype, SD cheats set to on, Etc.

I would say if they caused my game to Freeze. They just don't work. It even says its activating codes, but NOTHING. EVER. HAPPENS. I'm not a noob at setting up codes, so I know what to do.

What says it is activating codes?! Are you using a USB gecko to send the codes? Gecko OS? USB Loader? These codes work fine for me and another person I know on NTSC and PAL so you are obviously doing something wrong. I already asked you these questions once. If you cannot at least provide the information I ask, then how exactly do you expect me to help you? Please provide some useful information in your next post, otherwise I don't plan on replying again.
