Title: Shame on you, EA Sports!
Post by: Bully@Wiiplaza on September 28, 2012, 11:40:55 PM
These are the most identical games inside a sequel I´ve ever seen: Fifa 12 and Fifa 13 for Wii!
Same main menu, same game modes, same graphics, same controls, same banners, but different music and updated player/club database?

Fifa 13 could´ve been a different region version of Fifa 12, almost. More or less Fifa 12 patch 1 >_<

Aaaand finally, compare the codes. Especially the C2 hooks. The offsets are ~ 990 and most instructions are equal. ???
I could´ve ported everything over. I´m going to use a porting application now :s

The button activator address is the SAME!
I´m not drunken! :o

Repacked the same sh*t or what? Omg, how retarded.

Compared to this, CoD is nothing. I was quite pleased with Activision´s "every year" release though. EA Sports is just ridiculous. Since ever and even more this time. They never changed much but this time is just "wtf". I could´ve stopped playing this game on the first day already since I´ve seen everything new, but I´m still making codes for people. :P

Anything for a quick buck.  LOL  I wonder if this has to deal with their shift toward the WiiU instead of the Wii?

I think they didn´t feel like making a truely new Fifa for Wii. Considering the money they could earn for no effords basically, they just repacked again. 50 $ wasted. It has 1 1/2 stars on amazon. :o I obviously wasn´t the only one complaining. The way game publishers try to make money nowadays pisses me off. Finding new games that are made with "love" is seldom. Nintendo hasn´t turned greedy, yet. Thanks! The Fifa series isn´t bad, but the way how they are praised on all platforms and how the Wii version doesn´t even contain the features mentioned.

Here´s some comparison, lol:

It's the same for NBA 2K13. It's just a Nba 2K12 v1.1.
The Wii is dead.  :'( :'( :'(

Edit : The Pal and Ntsc are exactly the same. They are too lazy to make a real port.

I´m pretty sure it´s the same for Madden and NHL? :o EA just went berserk this time. Deserves a big slap into the face o.O
The Wii is dead because of a lack of new games, that´s the only reason for now. :-\

The new Madden has some really new options added to it and to game play as well.  NBA 2K13 (which isn't EA) isn't like it's predecessor either.  New options, game play modes.  Perhaps Acclaim should come back into the game of sports, team up with Midway again and show these guys how it's suppose to be done!  LOL
