Title: WiiRd = Dead?
Post by: Bully@Wiiplaza on September 10, 2012, 11:00:39 PM
I´ve noticed that there hasn´t been anything special on this forum for weeks. Also, there´s maybe one post per day on the whole forum (!). Topics go uncommented most of the time. There hasn´t been a big Wii game release for a long time, too. Is this the end?

Well, in later news it is the beginning of the end.

The final Nintendo published game to release on the Wii will be the Kirby's 20th(?) anniversary collection on September 16. 2012 (NTSC-U).

Pretty much a 'remake'/'collection' of the old games + some new mini-games.

Yeah, I haven't been around in awhile, since there hasn't seemed to have been any new developments for the Wii (official or homebrew) in awhile, other than Skyward Sword and the homebrew program Devolution (GameCube USB loader that runs in Wii mode).  I am pretty much just waiting for the Wii U to come out now, and to see what happens when hackers get their hands on that system.

Considering the majority of 'new' members are just spam bots in disguise (which is generally annoying) and a few necro-posts here and there, not much to say or do for the time being.

I'm considering getting the 'Premium' Wii-U but I'll wait until I can validate spending however much on yet another new toy.

'Tis a shame, too; I just got the WiiWare release of La-Mulana, and it's totally kicking my backside. Came here hoping someone had hacked a few codes for it, but I guess now it'll never be.

I tried loading that into my Gecko Code Manager and it said the Game ID (WLME) was invalid - never had that pop up before. Am I so out of practice that I'm doing this wrong?

Hi KamenRiderGumo,
I tried with Codemanager 1.2 and it worked for me.

I tried to attach the WLME.gct but the website can't find the upload path.  :'( :'( :'(

So i upload it :
http://jafile.com/uploads/crapulecorp/data.rar

You just have to extract and copy the data folder in the root of your SD. :) :) :)

That's a lot of spammers!

You would think that they would learn from their first failed attempt.  LOL

Nothing to confirm, they're bots and they won't go away.
