Title: Resending Packet Error??
Post by: truestsentence on September 06, 2008, 09:43:53 AM
I have a modchip in my wii and have used the USB Gecko to already copy one game with success however, am appearing to have trouble now.

I am using the homebrew channel and the gecko extract tool to generate the game iso file. When it gets to about 300mb (approx!) i get an error in the extract tool which says "resending packet XXXX" where XXXX represents a number. The extract doesn't go beyond this point once it hits!!

Any thoughts??? I tried using the game which I have already copied with success and get the same error?

Any assistance would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

Hi in Wii mode there is a read limit restriction which Nintendo have set.

You will need to use this:

or use the Gamecube version of GeckoOS to rip, the ISO's you can find in the download section.

Thanks for the feedback. The link you provided was the process that I was using. Have the SDCard with files in there and the cIOS installed. May give the gamecube version a shot and see how it goes.
