Am I able to save foreign games to my US Wii (ex. JAP SSB:B to my US Wii)?

Yes.
I have 2 imported games, a Japanese one and an American one.
They both save correctly (not the date), and the Wii Firmware even writes the correct names (like in Japanese characters on a PAL Wii, while you can't have the Japanese language on a PAL Wii).
