Here's a video of my most recent conference talk regarding GeckoTunnel (2012 University of Oklahoma Undergraduate Research Day Conference). Discusses the history of the project, some info about adding new games, some legal info, the 3D F-Zero GX code, and an announcement (with video) of the LAN functionality of GeckoTunnel.

If you haven't seen my talk from last year, I'd recommend watching that first:

Assuming that someone is willing to find the variables in memory that would be necessary to sync for that game, then most likely yes. (I'll be publishing a guide on how to do that in the near future.)
If I can understand your guide then I'll do it

So I just double-checked, and it appears that that particular game didn't have an offline multiplayer mode despite the box saying it did? If that's correct, then it won't be easy to use GeckoTunnel with it, because GeckoTunnel basically simulates everyone being in one multiplayer match. :( Can you tell me if the single-player mode is similar in gameplay to the online multiplayer that no longer is supported? I'm planning on supporting single-player modes for games whose single-player mode is essentially multiplayer against bots (specifically, the AI-controlled players need to use similar data structures as the human player)... if that's the case for this game, then it may be doable. Otherwise... probably not. :(
Unfortunately no singleplayer is not very similiar
This is seriously an awesome app, biolizard! The head tracking idea is awesome- and makes sense that GeckoTunnel would help out here. Especially with games where you control the camera yourself.
Very very cool!!
