I was making a code for a tutorial before I started making the 2d stage code that I asked about .rel's for, but then decided to just search normally. I went to the database to check if a code was right and found this http://geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RSBE01 (http://geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RSBE01) A 2D stage Z axis scale modifier code. It has the same effect has the code I was about to make. I feel like I have been robbed of a code. Has this ever happeneed to you because if so you know how it feels. If you haven't it doesn't feel good. >:(
Hahahah, yeah man, the very first codes I ever hacked were infinite jumps for the original smash bros.
The day after I hacked them for Link on a few of my favorite levels, someone posted every single possible inf jump code on GSCentral.com before I could post them.
Super lame when it happens- but alas it does!

Sucks, when people are faster with releasing.
Especially on popular games... I sometimes fear that someone will post my exact same code a few moments before me, so I mostly hurry up. xD
Normally, I hack a few codes and THEN check what was already made. Disadvantageous strategy, probably. :eek:
And I hate the time limit on geckocodes access, I´ve my password saved automatically so it doesn´t matter if it times out and someone else grabs my laptop and messes around or if it never times out (less hassle while putting some codes in). The time-out feature is kinda pointless in general, though. -__-
The timeout is probably a different problem (possibly changing IP address (which I shouldn't have used)) because it doesn't do a real time out for at the very least one hour- two max.
If you ARE getting an hour though and you can't do what you need to in that time, then there is a bigger problem.. ;(
Regardless though, I am doing actual sessions/cookies for the redesign. The way I did it before is cool for what it is, but I should have taken the time to learn cookies way back then and done it "properly".
It doesn´t seem to be "an hour", most likely a few minutes because it kept happening a lot when I put many codes in and hit the save button.
Anyways, the codes aren´t lost. I need to go back, copy everything, log back in, paste and save ;D
ich verstehe dich. aber wohl eher weil ich anfänger bin und nur die standard codes kann. da wehren woll projekt partner ganz sinvoll. den es ist doch so, du weist doch ungefähr wer was kann stehen ja immer die gleichen namen in den post dcx2,bully....und co. .stimmt euch doch ab, oder coded doch gemeinsam an einem spiel. es gibt so weit ich das beurteilen kann nur eine hand voll leute hier die wirklich wissen was sie machen und nicht wegen allen nachfragen müssen, schlisst euch doch direckt zusammen. 1 von euch ist gut gemeinsam seit ihr besser. ;D

I understand you. but rather because I am beginner and only the standard codes. as project partners wanted to fight very much meaning. which it is so, but about who has what you can always have the same name in the post d+ Additional Options...
shortcuts: hit alt+scx2, bully .... and co. . you vote, do not you coded it together on a play. there's so much I can tell only a handful of people here who really know what they do and do not have to ask for all, but together you INCLUDES direckt. One of you is better since their common good. ;D
da gibt es nur ein problem:
nicht jeder hat jedes spiel und nicht jeder ist mit einer bestimmten wahl einverstanden bzw. hat Zeit und Lust das Spiel zu zerlegen. So schlecht sieht es um die Code Listen nicht aus, auch ohne dass sich alle versucht haben. :P

there´s a problem with it:
not everyone has every game and there won´t be a game which everyone agrees on or there won´t be the necessary time/mood to intensely hack a game. The code lists still don´t look that bad without everyone who didn´t give a try. :P

ok, it was just an idea. blat is what you make it on another. But what you say is true.
The code doesn't work I finally decided to test it and it doesn't work. :eek: Can someone else test it to clarify.
