The game is already out in Australia and tomorrow in Europe.I am sure that a lot of people have already their copies arrived.

A roller that let's you choose which character you are would be nice too.

The JP version had a "model swap" thing that let you become someone else, but it would freeze at the Status screen.

Inf gold not working for me either, and I have tried several loaders and almost every hook type. Oh well, I suppose I'll look into wii game hacking.

Thanks Deathwolf. I can say the inf arrow code works and then some. It gives you inf items as well, or at least while selling items. The infinity Health all characters codes stretches the all the character's health bars across the screen. HP 99999 works, you have to get hit for it to kick in.

I may have found a side effect of these codes....or code.  I am currently running the 3 codes:

Full Power [Deathwolf],Infinity Life [Deathwolf], and Infinite Arrows [ukuneko, ported by Deathwolf]

and am somehow able to dupe items when I equip them....swords and armor.

You need to do the text file with Notepad++ or Textpad that's to say with program that are not the simple Windows' Notepad....

P.S.  I cannot no more access to the Code Database but I send a mail to James0x57 for this issue... as soon as possible I will create a entry with my codes ;)

Also a number of the RAM writes for Items/Gold etc are moving pointers that will change each time you boot up the game. Just letting you know.

The Item IDs however don't change, which was a great help when I was fiddling around with making/duplicating +99 Weapons and armor.

So, how can I use them? If I change the Y value in the first line and put a 2 in it, I have activated the 1-Hit Kill Mode? Do I need to change the X values, too, if I only want to use it? Can I use Multiply Health and 1 Hit Kill together? And what is Multiply Health anyway? Do I have more HP?

@Apache81: I'm sorry, but every time i want to use your cheat code for the armor/weapon materials, i have an error: If i want to load a savegame, the wii freezes with a very pesky noise and i have to hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn my wii off.

Furthermore, your 99x Arrow Code doesn't work for me but it doesn't break the game ;).

the code of 99 armor/weapons materials isn't working for me either, but in my case, it doesn't freeze my wii, the problem is that is not giving me 99 of the items, I'm in the second playthrough around chapter 26, in english settings, hope this helps

The currently code only unlocks the colors WHILE pressing the 1-button. After releasing the button the colors will be locked again.
Or it is possible to create a code for all items 99x? So everyone could unlock the colors etc. at the shops.

mmmmm I see, so in the game's memory that weapon doesn't exist, then is possible to change the attack and M. attack a weapon can have???
for example a weapon "X" upgraded to its maximum capacities has an attack of 300, is there a way to make that weapon to have an attack of 2000??? I know that in a new game + you can upgrade more all your stuff, but that question is for the weapons that have an upgrade that changes completely the weapon

oh and another doubt i have, is possible to change a weapon element?? or at least the "effect" (shiny, surrounded by mist, by shadow, etc) they have once they are upgraded???

A big 'I have no idea' for both your questions in regards to changing the Atk Power and M. Atk Power, elements, special effects etc of the weapons. That's probably some more fiddly stuff located in who knows where in the memory for the game.

The Spanish version. About the story, I've just escaped from the castle and invaded Jirall's room.

The color materials code freezes the game, however I've managed to fix the others, looks like it was some incompatibility issue with the max money code. But it's all done now, thanks for your help.

also ich habe versucht einen 1 hit killer zu machen leider ohne resoltat.
proplem war
1. alles float werte.
2 eine adresse ist für die anzeige die zweite ist für den eigentlichen wert beide müssen den gleichen wert haben.
3 das steigern der trefferpunkte hat nicht geklapt weil jeder gegner einen eigende treffer adresse hat.
es war nur möglich den angezeigten wert zu erhohen aber der wert wurde bei einem treffer auch bei euch angewendet.
die adresse die aussagt wie fiel energie der gegner verliert konnte ich nicht finden.
4 erhöhen der erfahrungspunkte nach dem kampf asm adresse weckselt immer.
5 tip fürs suchen wenn die eine leiste voll ist wird der zu suchende wert größer weil sich eine andere leiste
darüber schiebt.
sollte ich eure postet falsch übersetzt haben tut es mir leid.

I can confirm that either money code once you learn the true inentity of Calista if you try to change her color or any other party member with either code active will crash the game i tested it with the VBI hook using uloader 5.1 and the latest CIOS222 i cant confirm thsi via neogamma as it wont recognize my WBFS partition, nor i have CFGX or WCF/WF

Also there is a glitch with the infinite item codes, it seems that in a new game plus at random after upgrading a weapon the game will somehow roll more of the upgraded weapon you actually have, same goes for armor, randomly displaying "you cannot carry anymore"

Yes i know they shouldnt be used toghether, but what happens is that either code will cause the freeze, if one is on and the other off, it's  intresting and the glitch of the item codes can be fixed by saving-->Quiting the game--->loading the saved file, but it's a temp fix, it's a matter of time before the game "rolls" that you have 99 of every weapon/armor

hi habe mal aus fan nach einem item code gesucht. dabei ist mir etwas aufgefallen, die adresse springt nicht nur so sondern auch die asm adresse. im nicht kampfmodus war sie bei x, im kampfmodus war sie bei z.
fieleicht ist hier auch das proplem ???

Also for whoever who wants to give a look, the HP code is glitched, the one that is suposed to give inf HP is glitched, your health bar the first of the three should be white or at least a different color, if it's dark green/black then you are near death, i was killed today by a very base enemy who is the very first enemy you find on the game in two hits, and i was wearing +99 heavy armor and +99 heavy greaves.

Maybe the hackers haven't noticed this, but the memory values for The Last Story aren't constant...

So for money values, item values etc... the address will change each time you boot up the game. Sometimes it will be the same, sometimes not. Maybe that's what's causing the crashing...

Some people did notice, whoever this brings up the same problem star ocean: first departure had and was mentioned, it also has DMA but the hackers somehow got around it to find a common pointer for everything from EXP to Gold.

Also i think that the crahses are due to the money codes, not the unlocking color, since testing those alone and in separate times worked like a charm with no freezing, i am not a code hacker so i have no idea of how to run stuff with hex and such, my knowledge in hacking only goes so far as to edit fire emblem 8 XD

Unendlich lebensbalken. der code ist nicht leicht weil hier mehrere codes benötigt werden einer für den sichtbaren wert, und einer für den wert den die wii benutzt.
mit dem code immer 5 leben werdet ihr zwar immer noch getotet, aber geht nie ganz tot.

nochwas wen die story sagt ihr sollt sterben bei einem kampf hilft der unendlich energie und unendlich leben code nicht da er gegen die pogramierung spricht.
deswegen werdet ihr auch sterben wenn die codes an sind

I see so the problem is that the valueis not static, but rather switches, i wonder if there is a line in the programming that is the one that causes all the shifting you guys have seen.

Oh i also have some news regarding possible problems with the codes, the main issue i found is that after my third run trough the game some times after trying to access the main screen it would crash the game, it seems the more times you have beaten the game the more the values are shifted.

Hi guy, I want make a code request.

If it could be possible, i want ask for 3 codes.

1) Cut the Experience gain by half gain.

2) That one i don't know if it's possible, but i wish to play with max of 3 lifes, (in original is 5)

3) Cut the money gain by Half too.
