Title: another stupid question from me...(Virtual Console)
Post by: funkamatic on September 02, 2008, 04:17:27 PM
Is is possible to use this on VC games? Has it not been implemented yet or is it impossible for WiiRD to ever work with them?

EDIT: also WiiWare, Channels, and possibly homebrew apps?

Here's another question pertaining to this that I just thought of.

If I had an SSB64 .wad on my Wii and it's not on the VC yet, would whatever I hacked from that still work on the actual VC copy? Or would there be a difference? I'm just curious incase hacking VC Games were ever to be implemented.

Well your just editing memory just like you are in a game, so only if you made a save it would store any of this ram data to your save.

Not yet, we're working on bugs that exist in the Gecko OS + Ocarina more than anything. Most likely, this dealie you want won't happen for some odd weeks maybe even a month or so.
