Honestly, I didn't even know there was an usbgecko IRC channel. Maybe there's more on people's minds that they don't ever think about IRC anymore.
I used to use it almost every day back when the Dreamcast was new, but now I only used it for GoNintendo. Maybe it there was a bigger push, there'd be more people visiting the USBGecko irc channel, but at this point in time, with the Wii on it's last legs (and with the interest of Wii hacking waaaaay down), the push may or may not work very well.
