Title: Having trouble with Kirby's Return to DreamLand codes (help)
Post by: CodedDamage on January 10, 2012, 07:45:42 PM
Yes, I know it's been awhile since I've posted. Sorry?

Anyway... as the topic states, I'm having trouble with some codes for Kirby's Return to DreamLand. I'm only using two codes; these:

infinite health [wiiztec]
48000000 80DC6DF4
DE000000 80008180
14001434 00000030
E0000000 80008000

Infinite Lives [Glitch]
48000000 809ED0E0
DE000000 80008180
4A100000 000000C8
14000000 00000064
E0000000 80008000

However, whenever I talked to the guy in the Lor Starcutter, the game kept locking up and it would also lock up during cutscenes. I turned off the lives code and that solved the cutscene locking up problem, but not the other problem. Everything was fine and dandy. Until now that is.

Now, the game just randomly locks up while I'm just walking around the Lor Starcutter. I'm pretty sure I have the most recent Gecko OS thing on my Wii. I think. Cleaning the game disc didn't work.

PLEASE tell me it's not my Wii itself because I don't have the money to get it repaired or to get a completely new one...  :'(

I'd really appreciate any help you guys could give me with this. Thanks.

You need to use the gameconfig text because this game has Metafortress protection which will cause most codes to crash.

See the above post.

I'm sorry but I don't really understand. By "placing it on the root of your SD card" do you mean with the in the same area as the codes for GeckoOS?

Whatever directory your SD Card is:

(some letter):\

So gameconfig.txt should be in the 'root directory'. Understand?

Sorry for the bump, but I put the game config into my SD card, but it still locks up. Do I have to name it gameconfig for it to work?
