I was wondering if anyone knew how to start up WiiRD/GeckodotNet off Mighty Channels.
There is a debug option and stuff, but I never got it to work.. any suggestions?
Also, how to do it off Dios Mios Lite? (SNEEK-DI)
I'm pretty sure that Wiird/Gecko.NET aren't compatible with Dios MIOS lite, as they probably don't have code handlers implemented, etc.
As for Mighty Channels, there might be a way, but I can't be too sure.
I'm willing to bet that it *doesn't* work.
What would that way be? O:
maybe we should talk to marc_max to see if he can update it :O but i heard he wasn't going to touch it anymore.
I want to make codes for vc/ww w/o having to actually waste my wii space considering i have like 100 blocks free. lol
If you used Sneek, and got it working, you could install the Homebrew Channel onto it manually. (There are a few guides online in places.)
Then install the games to your Virtual NAND. (Again, there should be some guides online.)
I haven't been able to get it to work, myself because Sneek and Uneek hate me.
Welp... I tried numerous times.. here are my results.
I got SNEEK with all the vc/ww installed to the menu like normal. but trying to load Gecko OS from it resulted in black screen.
I got SNEEK-DI (which has a built in debugger) and none of the vc/ww boot up.
UNEEK doesn't even get past booting. so like.. yeah xD
Sneek and Uneek don't like me either. :(
Uh-huh.
I get ya.
I'm tired of having to swap out channels too for loading with Gecko OS.
There *is* one thing you could try.
WiiFlow, (a USB loader) has Wii Nand emulation. I have it running a couple of games stable-ly.
All you need is a USB Hard-Drive, (or SD Card) formatted to FAT32!
You can also use the Debugger functions and everything.
It's quite handy, IMO.
Ok i'll try that.
Does that require all that wad2iso stuff or just the regular method?(all the folders[ticket,title,shared1,2,wfs,tmp,import,meta] on root of usb)
Google ShowMiiNAND.
You can then somehow get the "files" to install what you want to your Virtual Nand.
Sorry, can't get too in-depth here.
There are plenty of guides on how to use ShowMiiNand, though!
I've used showmiiwads to do all the stuff but my question is left unanswered:
