Up until now the only way to liberate your Wii console and enable the use of homebrew with System Menu 4.3 was to use a gamedisc based exploit such as “BatHaxxâ€, “Return of the Jodi†and others.
Today we are announcing a project that changes this completely and removes the requirement for an exploitable game.
In memory of BannerBomb, we present you with LetterBomb , a brand new System Menu exploit that will allow you to enable homebrew with the push of an envelope ;) (no stamp licking involved)
This exploit reuses (and abuses) some of some Nintendo’s Wii Messageboard functionality. :-)

Nice to see Team Twiizers! is still active in the Wii Scene :)
AWESOME! Hooray System Menu exploits!
Works for me on UNEEK+DI. ;D Can't try it on the regular NAND.
I had read on another site that someone was working on something similar to this, as is stated on that HackMii article. Until recently, I didn't even know that mail from the Wii Message Board could be read and stored on an SD card.
Also, it's nice to have a non-game exploit for System Menu 4.3 users, just like System Menu 3.0 to 4.2 has Bannerbomb. I imagine that this would be pretty easy for Nintendo to patch, but I don't know if they are even bothering at this point. I imagine that they would at least try to patch this and force people to buy a game.
Yeah, giantpune started making this exploit, and the hackmii blog post gives a shout-out to him.
isn´t it the mail bomb exploit with the little bob-omb sign on the letter? 8)
lulz, they bomb the wii with exploits that nintendo will never be able to fix them all... :)

kk, already noticed it...
... and it works fine ;D
Done and wii modded a second time.
Great Success!
Just read through it- this has to be the easiest to use exploit to date! (isn't it?)
So freakin cool. I almost want to update to 4.3 just to use it. hahah
I dunno, I thought bannerbomb was the easiest. This exploit needs your MAC address and region.
the exploit works on any firmware, doesn´t it?
And it´s the easiest to use exploit.
The hardest part is still the download captcha and the MAC Address input xDDDD
I failed the first time and it asked me: "Iz you a human?"
rofl...
The exploit only works on 4.3. For 4.2 and lower you can use bannerbomb.
I still say bannerbomb was the easiest. Drop it on your SD card. Click a few things on the Wii. done. It didn't require anything else from you.

well... some people didn´t find the sd card screen and even if they did, some wii´s didn´t like that exploit and crashed on load or something similar.
I guess everybody can click onto the message icon on the right and open the bomb message.
This discussion is kind of useless right now anyways :P
But why does it only work on 4.3.?
Older firmwares had the same message service.
You´re right, just use bannerbomb and that´s it, ok.
I'm guessing that Team Twiizers could make it work on System Menu 4.2 and lower if they really wanted to. However, System Menu 3.0 to 4.2 have Bannerbomb, which doesn't require a game either.
While some people may have a problem with some versions of Bannerbomb, I can't say that I have ever seen a case where someone couldn't get any version of Bannerbomb to work at all. I personally have never had a problem with it.
this is mainly for people who have a factory 4.3 or accidental updated 4.3 and do not have SSBB
This seems pretty neat. I'm having my friends who haven't hacked their wii to try it out.
