I have searched and googled for hours but I'm still stumped. I have this code for COD

I have figured out that XXXXYYYY is the button activator. I have found hex button values so I know that lets say 8000=Home(wii remote)
Pulling out my handy calculator, HEX button then entering FFFF - 8000 = 7FFF.
So my activator should now be changed from XXXXYYYY to 7FFF8000 correct???
I can't seem to get the hack to activate so I just wanted to make sure I was doing that part correctly. I'm starting to think the hack has been patched though. (I'm loading the hack from an SD card into Gecko OS 1.9.3.1, Gecko finds and applies the code then starts the game)

Also, if you wanted to activate the code using the home button, (0x8000) then, your button activator would be simply:
28200F40 00008000 (With this, you can press Home, but no other buttons)
Or, if you wanted to be able to include other buttons, then it would be:
28200F40 FFFF8000 (With this, you can press Home and any other buttons at the same time)
You would be fine in choosing either of them. The second one would be best for something like, moon jump.

The proper code *would* (if it wasn´t patched) look like this (pretty much what you already said though)
