Title: Error Code #002
Post by: Uniformality on May 31, 2011, 05:35:10 PM
I have Wii Firmware 4.3U.
Now, whenever I try to load Goldeneye 007 through Ocarina I get the dreaded Error Code #002.
Some games seem to load properly and others like Goldeneye or Conduit 2 jump to the error screen.
I can load the discs fine through the disc channel, but Ocarina will always give me the error with/without cheats enabled.

Since I have almost no knowledge of Wii hacking/modding could anyone provide a step-by-step process of fixing this error?
I'm a very quick learner and can easily follow instructions.

Thanks in advance.

1. Are you using just the Ocarina app? Because you really shouldn't be using it as it's outdated.
2. Instead download Gecko OS 1.9.3 and use that to run GoldenEye

I will assume you already have Homebrew otherwise you wouldn't know what Ocarina is.

I'm resorting to using the Ocarina app because Gecko 1.9.3 just shows a black screen when trying to load it. It previously worked but now I can't get past the black screen. I should've been more clear on that.
So for now only Ocarina and Gecko 1.07 (whatever the old one is) is all I can use.

Did some brainstorming and figured out that Gecko would probably be conflicted with the USB Headset that I use for Conduit 2/Black Ops. Unplugged it and now everything works.
