Title: Using Gecko OS for Gamecube/VC/Wiiware etc.
Post by: denslowjefferyw on April 30, 2011, 04:02:29 PM
Ok based on what I have read I know this is possible but as I am a self professed noob at this I could use some help figuring it all out.
I use Acio for my codes and Gecko OS 1.9 on my HBC. The codes work great for Wii titles but I also have a number of GC and VC games that I want to try.
If there is a step or program I am missing could someone please fill me in because all i can do is load Wii disks the codes dont engage on GC disks and I have no idea how to get VC stuff to work.

Read "Patching IOS36" http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,6843.msg59073.html#msg59073

If you update, nothing will go wrong, you'll just need to re-patch IOS36 again.  Nintendo's updates unpatch IOS.
