Title: New Super mario Bros Wii moon jump help
Post by: toonlink444 on January 11, 2011, 07:48:58 PM
I know that I asked this before and I know 3 people posted the same thing. But I can't find the Y-Volocity/Speed. I did The normal Equals 0 on ground, greater then in the air. When down to a few addresses go to memory viewer and jump. If the value changes poke it, and if you jump you found it. But in my case when I'm down to few addresses and when I jump the values change, but when I poke it nothing happens. I also tried but 04 in front of the value and adding a Y-Speed to see if mario is lifted, but no sucsses. I hope this is enough info and I hope you can help.

When poke doesn't work then there is ASM 'constantly' writing the value.
When 04 doesn't work then the value is written by the game after the code handler and not read until it is written by the game.

I'd look for another copy of that value or play with breakpoints and ASM.

ahahaa, for this game, the value decreases when jumping up and increases when going down.
Bzw. Mdmwii already made this code, you are wasting your time (or do you train something?)

Sry, but you just trapped into a little trap xD
It is normal that people are having problems when something like this happens...
if you totally can´t find it, try other search options... I sometimes searched for 2 houres and then finally FOUND it.

"Who is searching, will find."
