Title: WiiRD cant connect to Gecko
Post by: Chaosdragon13 on December 25, 2010, 03:32:22 AM
For the past 2 week I have been using my USB Gecko with WiiRD with no issues. Then I get a new laptop loaded with Windows 7 and now all of a sudden I always get a message saying that WiiRD cant connect to Gecko. I have tried searching for this issue and all I found is that it may be the drivers. So I uninstalled the drivers multiple times and tried reinstalling them in a couple different ways and still no luck. I know is not the USB Gecko itself because it still works just fine on the old computer. Any suggestions?

Its a Compaq laptop and I have already tried all three USB ports. None of them work.

In case you have not tried it, perhaps you could try geckodotnet (similar PC application like wiird):

Thanks for the help. Geckodotnet worked with the new computer. I am just going to have to get used to the minor changes in this program compared to WiiRD.
