Hi, lately I've been interested in Texture Hacking, and so have downloaded WiiScrubber. I followed all the setup instructions, and the opened a file which told me to type 42 into. This would become a key. I did just that, and when I loaded the WiiScrubber application, it said it could not find the key (something like that). It loads, but I can't do anything with it. What am I doing wrong?
You need a key to have wii scrubber to read the iso's but the key is nintendo owned code so nobody will distribute it
There's a workaround that involves a program that generates the key when you type 43 or something
The key is 42 (I watched multiple videos on youtube). It still doesn't work.
What? you have the key generator?
Yeah, It came with the download ;D
try renaming the key to key.bin sometimes it will name it common-key.bin or something similar.
It didn't give me the option to save it, at least I don't think it did. Ontop it said to type 42 in, so I did. I then clicked generate, and it said a key had been made. But nothing else happened.
No, there's no save button. It's a .bin file anyway.
Hold on, after watching a tutorial, it said to put the key.bin and the kkey.bin into the same folder as the WiiScrubber application. I can't find the .bin files, so where could they be?
it should be in the wiiscruber folder if not search for them with windows search
Ok, I'll try that.
No, the search doesn't find anything either.
hmmm, try redownloading wiiscruber and try to generate it if it still doesn't work it's beyond me
Ok, I'll try it.
No, still not working.
Dunno then
I have it working, don't worry!
How did you do it? Just asking
For some reason, it hadn't extracted probably. So I tried again, and it works! lol all that for that to happen!
