Ok I HAVE searched but not much comes back for specifically what I have going on.
So here's my setup.
No wireless connection as of yet...will soon though.
Wii 4.2u
Wii Play Original disk (the only game I want to mod)
Gecko 1.9.3.1
code downloader
cheat manager.
homebrew channel
So I've actually gotten the homebrew channel installed with gecko, downloader, and cheat manager working inside HBC.
I'll go into cheat manager, along with the txt codes for Wii Play Tanks, which is really the only game I'm interested in modding (just infinite lives and maybe level jump). So anyway cheat manager recognizes my txt file from the 'txtcodes' folder and have the txt codes for lives and level jump.
I loaded them and it made the gct files for them in the 'codes' folder.
When I start the game through gecko, it says SD txt files not loaded, goes to the game....and my nunchuck doesn't work. Also no cheats are working.
I know I'm stupid and I apoligize for probably a completely stupid and ignorant thread, but I barely know what I'm doing...I just want infinite lives on tanks!!!
Any help here would be tremendously appreciated!
There are 2 or more versions of the game, your's is a newer one there are no codes for the newer version.

I looked at the back of the game cover and it has a 2006-2007 copyright.
The barcode is (0)45496-90006(9)00102 if that helps any
How can you tell the older version from the newer one? Chances are I'm just screwing something up in HBC
I doubt its something in the HBC it doesn't even control the codes, maybe Gecko but probably not.
You something that looks like this: RVL-RHAE-0A-1 USA
If your disk reads RVL-RHAE-0A-0 USA then you're doing something wrong, if it reads anything else then there are no codes for it.

This disk reads RVL-RHAE-USA Model # RVL-006(USA)
I went and bought another disk at gamestop but it's doing the same problem.
The codes work on Wii Sports so I'm guessing I don't have the right Wii Play disk ;(
No the codes only work on RVL-RHAE-0A-0 USA hopefully someone will make codes for the new versions.
what exactly does everyone want? i can give a shot at them if they are rather simple (mostly because im far too lazy to make any complex codes for the game).. and i *believe* i have the newer version. ill have to check it out.

That must be a tough disk to find, everyone I email on ebay has 0A-1
