for some reason when i try to load the codes the screen goes black and the game wont load.

Plus is there a code for infinite E tickets?
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey

I'll look into the black screen thing

Are E tickets those TV's?
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey

I can confirm also the black screen problem. Is it possible that the codes require some other hooktype?

Black screen is fixed, I had forgotten to use address range checks with the pointers

Thanks for your quick fix!
Unfortunately, the infinite energy code works for the enemies too!!! :'(

It seems it also makes chests unbreakable as well

Post by: panmusic on November 20, 2010, 10:09:44 PM
I am not sure if this actually helps you,but I disabled the infinite energy code and tried only the other two codes. While the game run fine, when I pressed the Home button to exit to the Wii menu, the game suddenly crashed (black screen)...
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: wiiztec on November 20, 2010, 10:16:26 PM
So it crashed after you pressed HOME or Wii Menu?
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey

It crashed after I pressed Wii Menu...
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey

Does it do it every time? because It hasn't happened to me yet.

Anyways the infinite health code should be fixed now

Sorry but I am going to bed for sleep.I am exhausted from work.As soon as I wake up,I will try the new code and I will try to check if the game will crash after exiting to Wii Menu.
I will report in a few hours.

Edit:Is it possible to create a code for infinitive e-tickets?This is a very important element of the game....

Tell me if the E-ticket code works it should lock the amount at 99 but the game will tell you you have your normal amount of E-tickets

ok,so i tried using inf health + inf paint + inf thinner, and i had problems.the spin attack doesn't destroy stuff like treasure chests and the glass prison where the 1st gremlin is,and the 2 button sometimes doesn't work.i tried the game without the codes and everything went fine.is anyone having any of these problems?
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: CabooseMiller on November 21, 2010, 01:21:41 AM
the infinite paint and paint thinner work and ill try the tickets once i get a code for it

EDIT: when i fell in a whirl pool the game crashed.

You must be using the old infinite health code

Also anyone who is experiencing kinda random crashes try using the OSSleepthread or GXFlush hooks

so far the codes have been working with that hook so ill update if anything happens

edit: well i tried the codes and the infinite tickets did not work for me
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: panmusic on November 21, 2010, 09:51:43 AM
Well,I spent some time to actually test some things.

1)VBI Hook-The codes work fine (inf.health and painter) but the game crashed with a black screen after a few minutes of play in a loading screen.
2)OSSleepthread Hook-The same results with above.Again, random crash during a loading screen resulting in a black screen.
3)GXFlush Hook-I think this is not working at all.It freezed after a pressed start game  in the first loading screen.

Finally,I can confirm that whatever hooktype I tried, the infinite tickets code never worked.

im having the same load problems with the infinite paint codes and the infinite tickets did not work with me either

same here.when i enter a house..al code works but not e-tickets.
tried on gecko os,neogama.wiiflow..
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: wiiztec on November 21, 2010, 02:08:32 PM
I changed the codes to use a safer register, if this doesn't fix the random freezing at load screens then the problem is beyond my knowledge
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: panmusic on November 21, 2010, 03:13:51 PM
Thanks for the new codes!

After a little testing, these codes are a lot more stable.(default hook)
Infinite Paint and Thinner work flawlessly but infinite energy while it works for Mickey,it works also for the enemies.
This time the game did not crashed during the game or a loading screen. The only freezing happened the moment I pressed Quit via the options menu in-game.

I hope I helped you a little Wiiztec!
Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: wiiztec on November 21, 2010, 04:32:31 PM
Did it crash constantly before? It should not be crashing at all when you select quit from the options menu

I have actually not expirenced any black screen crashes myself with any versions of the codes just random freezing at loading screens and crashing at character dialog

Also what enemies have health? I have been able to kill every enemy while the infinite health code has been on using thinner, do you consider thinner resistance health or what?

Well, just once it crashed from selecting quit from the options menu.I will try again and report back.
As for the enemy health,it seems impossible to kill any metalicall enemy in the game. For example, you must use the thinner to remove enemy's skin and after attack with a spin move. These enemies are invincible.

Is there any chance you'll use a little magic to make the infinite e-tickets code work?

Thanks wiiztec for the codes.games like this are hard to hack on.It,s 2-D then 3-D back and forth.I get most of my lockups and freezes at  those moments.I just turn the paint and thinner codes off and my game loads again.

I made more codes and I added more sanity checks to the old codes, I'm still getting occasional loading screen freezes though, don't know why their never consistant

There's not capitals in my name btw

And if you want updates don't count on me posting here, check the code topic

The new codes don't make any difference. I still can't get MJ/Inf Jumps to work.
BTW, I always seem to need to have one hit before Inf Health works.

You're having problems with moon jump and infinite jumps? I thought those codes were foolproof they seem to be in static RAM, Do they just not work or freeze/crash? Did you try the codes alone?

Is moon jump & or infinite jumps not working for anyone else?

all the codes work great for me however i haven't tried the infinite tvs, infinite tickets and moonjump.the other ones work though.just one thing: the inf. health code allows you to take damage once and only then the code takes effect.no one mentioned this apparently so i thought i would.thanks for the codes anyway wiiztec ;)

The jump codes just don't work. My game has never crashed. I've tried the Inf Jumps code with Inf Health, then I tried the MJ code with Inf Health, but the effects are always the same. The MJ/Inf Jumps codes act like they're not on.
Though, those are the only codes I use, because I'm worried that the Inf Paint/Thinner codes will crash my game.

Hi

Having trouble with the Infinite TV's code.

When I used this code I had just got the Cartoon TV sketch for the first time and it did give me infinite TV's but when it came to the part in the game where you get the Clock sketch, it would not let me pick up any sketches or select the Clock sketch from the + menu. I could not even buy them from the pirate.

It did not matter if I disabled the code or not, the game would not accept that I had obtained a Clock sketch and would treat it as though I had 0 Clock sketches.

I was finally able to use the Clock sketches once I brought the Clock sketch amount upgrade from one of the shops.

[EDIT] Using the code then did not make the Clock's infinite.

My problem is I am now on the Manor House level and I am having the same problem but this time with the Anvil sketch. I have picked up both the sketches in the level but it will not accept that I have them. I can cycle back and forth with the TV and Clock ones but no Anvil.

I cannot go back and get the upgrade, the path is locked, the only way is forward into the Manor. Surely this level can be completed without the Anvil? I'm thinking what if you used those 2 sketches you get and miss the hit point both times, how would you get through the door if you only have 2 sketches in the level.

I'm wondering as the current code sets the amount to infinity which is outside what you can carry with out the upgrade it therefore denies you access to the sketch.

I have disabled the code and reloaded my save to no effect. Would it be possible to set this code to be a smaller value like 2 or something, or can you provide a code that has the upgrade unlocked to enable the sketch.

Thanks

[EDIT] I've since realised that the current code has no effect for anvils or clocks, which may be the problem.

Title: Re: [Request] Epic Mickey
Post by: turb0m0nk3y on December 17, 2010, 04:51:19 PM
Thanks, this works both clock and tv sketches are INF on 50

Still no anvil is being listed.

I've changed the value to 16 and that gave INF on 22
Changed it to 08 and it gave INF on 8

I am not sure what the cap is on how many of each sketch you can hold before purchasing the upgrade but 8 seems low enough.

Any help would be very much appreciated, don't really want to start my game over again.

Use this code to reset your anvils to 0 (just use a sketch to activate it), the game thinks you have them maxed out so It won't give you any

14000004 00000000
14000008 00000000

I also made a new infinite sketches code that ensures this problem won't happen
