So I recently picked up the PAL version of Another Code R. I want to play it on my US Region NTSC Wii which I have already upgraded to 4.3.
I also prefer to do this without permanently installing anything on the Wii. I only want to play this one game, I don't have any other use for homebrew.
I've been told this is possible using a combination for the Super Smash Bros Smash Hack, and loading the Gecko OS, but I'm unable to get it to work.
I believe I'm able to get SmashStack to work, it takes me to the loading screen. I renamed the Geckos boot.dol file to boot.elf... and the loading screen tells me it has loaded that file, but then it says 'no valid elf image detected, retrying'
So from that, I'm assuming I haven't gone about this the right way.
Can anyone offer me any advice? I'm pretty new at this, so please speak slowly so I can understand you. :)
