Just a note.. after a long time I got in contact with kenobi again. Metroid: Other M has a new debugging protection which makes searching codes difficult - he sent a test code which I am supposed to test. Today after work, I will run some thorough tests (I do have the game, I originally planned to play through first though) of the code - if it fixes the known problems of the game I will release it in HIS NAME (no credit by me) - maybe it even enabled direct poking of values such as health!

So when you want to use the cheats  for the pal version do you just have to change the game code for them to work eg change the e for usa to p for pal.   ANd what does the code mean when it says *Requires Disable Write Protection Y.S.  I also am having trouble with this game as it seems to load with gecko setting up drive etc works but them my wii just resets.

I've made an edit of one of two of Zit's codes, as both used the minus-button (the no-clipping mode and the freezing of enemies). The one of Sharkbyte didn't work unfortunately, as his proper edit was based on a non-working code of Zit before.

Walk Through Walls (B button) [ZiT]
282DBEC2 FBFF0400
48000000 80C8FF44
DE000000 80008180
58010000 00000000
58010000 00000120
10000024 00000000
E0000000 80008000

Enemy Freeze ( - Button on/off ) [ZiT]
282DBEC2 EFFF1000
C2566B8C 00000004
819C0000 A18C0002
2C0C6F8D 4182000C
3800000A 901C008C
801C008C 00000000
CC000000 00000000
C2566B8C 00000004
819C0000 A18C0002
2C0C6F8D 4182000C
38000001 901C008C
801C008C 00000000
E0000000 80008000

I tested it, and it works.  :)

Both the upper addresses of the two codes can be interchanged to one's desire; if one wants to interchange the buttons.

(282DBEC2 FBFF0400 and

282DBEC2 EFFF1000)

Have a nice weekend!

Please try reading the code notes next time. Use this code along side your other codes to stop the game from resetting.

Disable Write Protection [Y.S.]

048AFC68 38600000

208AFC68 38600001 it gives 205
048AFC68 38600000            045
E0000000 80008000
