i am not sure if anyone else had asked this question before, but what does recovery mode from gecko os rebooter options do? ???
It basically starts the system menu recovery mode - you will also get the same menu if you insert a SaveMii device in your Wii or if you press all D-Pad buttons at once on a Gamecube controller in port 4. Technically there is not too much use to it for end users.. back then it was only of use for modchip users who accidently updated their 3.1 Wii to 3.2 of a different region and they got an opera error because of that.. if they inserted a 3.3 disc of the correct region then the Wii would update and fix itself. However, even considering how many people accidently bricked their Wii back then I still think the recovery menu was of very low use to people!
