Title: Emulating a Key
Post by: Lazistan on August 18, 2010, 02:59:23 AM
Hi Guys

Is it possible to emulate or remap a key? I ask this, because I have the opinion that many of the Games for Wii just have bad Keymapping. For example all this shaking around for fight games while oter normal buttons are nod used.
For example: I press Button "2" and the Wii should believe that I "Shaked" the Wiimote or Nunchuck or whatever.

Should be possible.  The Wiimote data is sitting in RAM, so if you poke it, the game should be fooled.

This has been done before.  In Okami, shake = attack.  brkirch made a code so that pressing 1 would make you attack instead.
