I am using the latest version of Gecko OS and I don't see an option to load Channels. All I see is Launch Game, Config, About, and Exit. No load Channel option anywhere. How am I supposed to use Virtual Console codes if there isn't an option to use them? If someone could help me that would be great thanks.
the latest version of gecko os doesn't support launch channel.
use gecko os 1.9.3.1

If I do this will I be able to load Channels again?
yes, for loading channels you need IOS36.
with this u can restore it
It worked but will this have an effect on cIOSX installers? and does effect anything else? Thank you.
no you just downgraded your IOS, now you can use any cIOSX installer you want ;)
btw u can make a nand backup befor u will install cIOS if you want
Channel loading requires an IOS that has the signing bug. You can use DOP-Mii to downgrade IOS 15, patch the signing bug back into IOS 36, and then upgrade IOS15 back to normal. Restoring IOS15 is very important.
At this point, the only thing that has changed is that you can fake sign stuff. You haven't installed any custom IOS or anything yet.
In order to install a custom IOS, you need an IOS with the sign bug, so using DOP-Mii was an important first step. Once you use DOP-Mii to patch an IOS with the sign bug, you can then use the patched IOS to install whatever you want.
BTW, Gecko OS 1.9.3.1 is the latest version.
