Title: Gamecube memory card hacking
Post by: goemon_guy on July 09, 2010, 02:43:49 AM
Ok, so there are some applications for the HBC that let you install gamesaves onto the gc memory card. So, theoretically, shouldn't it be possible to put files onto the memory card for SD Load to run Homebrew on a gamecube using the AR? Seeing how a GC Mem card is nothing but a modified SD card.

Just an idea, but it really made me curious.

Hmm... well, isn't the SD Gecko basically that? It does go in the Memory card slot IIRC... and then the SD card is inserted into the "GC Memory Card" shaped adapter...

I wouldn't know where to start with this, but the concept sounds like it should be possible...

You mean use any memory card as an AR code manager? Yeah, just put it in Slot B while using the AR, and it will make a save for the AR... Sorry if thats not what you meant.
