Hey everyone, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to codes/programming/hacking, and I have a simple question. What do I need to do to convert normal decimal values (1,2,10, etc.) into values needed for a code with XXXX?
Specifically I'm looking at modifying the monster hunter 3 "amount slain" codes, and I'm completely lost on whether I just put in the normal decimal values or if I'm supposed to convert my values into a specific programming language
It needs to be converted to hex.
Use the bottom left converter:
http://geckocodes.org/index.php?arsenal=3
(put the number you want on the right, click the [<] button to see the hex value)
Thanks for the guidance, I appreciate it.
Not to steal the thunder from James' freshly released arsenal, but you can also use the standard Windows Calculator.
start -> run -> calc. Make sure "view -> scientific" is checked. The radio buttons for "Dec" and "Hex" will convert between Decimal and Hex. Or if you're like me, you can use F5 to convert to Hex and F6 to convert to Decimal.
And Alt+3 to switch to scientific mode :P

How/When? o.o
You can press F5 or F6 any time you want, it's just like clicking the Dec or Hex radio buttons. Of course, calc.exe must have keyboard focus.
Oh, in calc.exe. That's cool. I didn't know that one. :P
