Excuse me, but can anyone help me with something? Here's basically what happens.
I can download/use the txt codes just fine with code downloader and gecko OS right? Of course.
But there's a problem that reads like this if I edit the codes any (IE not edit exsisting codes but adding 'new' codes to the list via the pc cheat manager program) then access the games txt file in cheat code manager I get this error.
"*insert file-path/file/game name here* .txt empty?"
Can anyone help me out with this? ;s
The codes in question are for any time I try to make the .text document myself using cheat manager ....
Could You Make it clearer?
Im not sure if this will help but make sure you have a folder on your sd named "txtcodes" on the root of the sd.
Then have a regular file named "codes" on root.
Also if problem continues do the codes manually i do not have internet on my wii so i do everything manually and it works just fine. Maybe start over and read a manual guide??

It does the same thing when I do it on the pc though.
And to put it simply, if I edit the codes list on the .txt file for *insert game name here* from the code database any, as in adding new ones on. when I go to open those up in the cheat manager and select the game I want it shows that error. But I'll try re-installing both and doing it manually
Let me Know if it works when done manually ;D

Hmm I'm not seeming to have any luck with SSBB I'll try it with Metroid Trilogy and see if it works.
EDIT: Okay I tried the GCT thing manually. Metroid Prime Trilogy codes work, including the new ones. But the game likes to freeze up on me ;s I am going to try brawl now.
Do explain if it does or doesn't work and how.
Okay, well the codes work fine, like the game runs on them with them activated. However there is a few problems.
Metroid trilogy likes to freeze up on me when I use the metroid prime 3 codes, even using the online GCT generator. Though I do hear that's a comon problem with trilogy? :s
SSBB seems to work fine, but somehow "player one controlls all players" seems to be activated even when it isn't.(As in I don't selected on the online GCT generator) The game also likes to give me a lime green screen with a "disk could not be read" error after a few minutes of playtime.
Taunt to enable final smash doesn't work, though I think it just needs to be ported. I have the code for the europe version if anyone wants to give it a shot for the us. Pretty simple code with only four or five lines if I remember straight.
I have Gecko OS 1.9.1.3 and wii menu 4.2 if it helps and yes, I'm using the gxflush hook on the metroid games and default hook for brawl
Have you tried the code manager app for HBC?

I've tried the new codes on a txt file but code manager doesn't find the file, as in, if I add the codes to use them via the cheat manager, it's impossible to do so because the program on the wii can't see the file.
My problem with MP3 is solved though, I just needed to update gecko os and use the online gct generator.
I think my brawl disk may just be dirty, I'll clean it and try toggling off the player one controlls all players code since it seems to be on all the time.
Here's the codes I'm (trying to) working with
Taunt to enable final smash(ported us version found on youtube)
Unrestricted replay camera(ported us)
Unrestricted pause camera(ported US)
Super sonic lasts forever (Can't find a us ported version)
Stage stays still (unsure if there's a us version or not)
Use Cheatmanager app for homebrew channel youll save your wii in the long run. If you keep popping the sd card like a pez then there is a screw that will make it so that you cant play anymore games.
Here is a quick rundown on how to make cheat manager work.
On the root of your sd card make a folder named txtcodes. This is where you put the txt files you download from Geckocodes.
Simply run the cheat manager chooose which codes and then press 1.
Run Gecko with game of choice and bam you saved 2 minutes running back and forth around your house.
