 :-[ Hello. I have gecko codes for wind waker, but whenever I use them in gecko OS it doesn't do anything. The screen just turns black and it plays the normal game! (I can activate them)

You can do it, but you need to use the Gecko OS MOD (WiiPower) which allows Gamecube games to be loaded with cheats.
Follow all of the instructions there.

I guess you cant hook Wiird using this method? I want to Hook Wiird to a GC game without having to boot using the Gecko OS Gamecube disc so I can hack my own codes without having to go through all of that headache...i.e. when the game frezzes and you have to reboot when poking into the wrong address etc..and then remove the disc,put the Gecko OS disc back in and ejecting and then putting your game disc in...

I need something step-by-step. I'm trying to follow and I've downloaded the files but I have no idea what to do next and it's all pretty much gibberish to me. A step-by-step guide to the modding illiterate would help a lot.
